Nice genuine WWII US Army M1 helmet liner, of the synthetic resin-coated, compressed-fiber type manufactured by Capac.
The 28th Infantry Division insignia has been painted on the front, while some white horizontal bar, which identifies NCOs on the ETO, adorns the rear of the present liner.
Retains its khaki cotton web suspension and neckband, with OD-painted A washers (partly oxidized) and United Carr leather chinstrap.
Good overall condition.
