Helmet, M1, Fixed Loops, INLAND Liner, Normandy
Genuine WWII US Army M1 helmet, front rim seam and fixed loops, manufactured by McCord, shell number 675D.

Remnants of some theater-made camouflage scheme, made up of large stains of dark paint, are still visible on the outer surface of the shell.
Comes with its original liner, manufactured by Inland, which retains a few elements of its original khaki cotton web suspension and neckband (on which number 30.309 has been written), along with its A washers (oxidized).
Nice homogeneous set, in worn condition, found in Normandy.
