Genuine WWII US Army M1 helmet, front rim seam and fixed loops, manufactured by McCord, shell number illegible.

Original canvas chinstrap with steel buckle and hook.

Some sort of 'double' 63rd Infantry Division insignia has been painted on the right-hand side of the shell.

Worn condition; comes with an original liner, made by Firestone, retaining its khaki cotton web suspension and blackened-brass A washers.
