Nice genuine WWII US M2 individual medical jungle kit pouch, Item No. 9710900, introduced in 1943 for the Army yet also widely used by the Marine Corps. A first-aid packet pouch or any other piece of equipment featuring the standard bent wire hook can be attached below, thanks to the two eyelets intended for that purpose.
The present pouch is in good, used condition. Manufactured by Sanicot Products Co. in Manchester, New Hampshire and dated 1945. Snap fasteners are in working order.
