Genuine WWII US Army medical suspender, initially intended for pulling stretcher carriers.
This type of harness was widely used by combat medics throughout the war, thus allowing a better weight distribution when carrying the medical pouches, which contained various types of first aid supplies depending on the personnel's position.
Complete and in good overall condition despite some minor oxidation of all metal parts; snap hooks are in working order.
