Rare genuine WWII US Navy waterproof transceiver, manufactured by Communication Company, Inc. Made under contract Nxss-14439 , this transmitting and receiving equipment was intially designed for the Paramarines but soon became popular with most services of the Marine Corps. The present radio set is made up of the following elements: - 1 canvas carrying bag; - 1 watertight bakelite box containing the transceiver itself and the battery; - 1 pair of headphones; - 1 microphone with a switch button; - 1 telescopic antenna (of the 2nd type in the present case). Homogeneous set, in very good overall condition, retaining all wires. Illustration documents available in digital format only.

Rare genuine WWII US Army khaki pressed fiber helmet, a.k.a. 'Pith Helmet'. Introduced in October 1940, this light, colonial-style helmet was intended for warm-weather regions and thus adopted by the US Navy and USMC, too. The present sun helmet retains its original leather liner and canvas chinstrap. The outer surface features an interesting theater-made camouflage scheme, made of various green and brown paint stains. Manufacturer's name, contract number and date are still visible inside: International Hat Co. W30-280-QM-11556 11 December 194 [?]. An unusual artefact in very good, worn condition.

Helmet, Mk II, Canadian, CLC-VMC, 1940-1942, Royal Canadian Navy
Nice genuine WWII Canadian Mk II helmet, retaining its original liner and early-type chinstrap. Shell manufactured by CLC ( Canadian Lamp Company , Windsor, Ontario) and dated 1940. Liner is hallmarked VMC ( Viceroy Manufacturing Company , Toronto, Ontario) and dated 1942. Size 7 ¼. Good, worn condition. The outer surface features a greenish blue color, which indicates a probable service in the Royal Canadian Navy.

Interesting lot of fifty-eight genuine WWII US photographs, taken from the personal album of some unidentified USAAF officer. Covering the 1944-1946 period, these pictures were taken in various areas: Cherbourg, France; Berlin, Germany; Poltava, Ukraine; and Cairo, Egypt. These rare documents provide pictorial evidence of Soviet liaison officers visiting the Western Front, and American liaison officers visiting the Eastern Front. Generals Sharapov and Bradley can be seen, among others. Original prints, different sizes. Nice homogeneous set, in very good overall condition.

Rare genuine WWII US Army Field Ration K, Breakfast Unit, of the early type. Packaged by The Cracker Jack Co. in Chicago, Illinois. Initially intended for airborne units, this type of combat ration pack was standardized for all branches of service in November 1942. A daily ration for one man was made up of three separate cardboard boxes -- Breakfast, Dinner, and Supper. The present ration is complete and comes in its original carton. Do not eat contents.
