Genuine WWI US Army canteen, unmarked, retaining its standard regulation cup made by L.F. & C. in 1918.

This lot comes in some original canvas cover, made by Kemper-Thomas Company and on which name Dolan and partial ASN 1109 have been written.

Homogeneous set, in good overall condition.

William Joseph Dolan, Jr. was born on July 21, 1918 in Troy, New York and joined the US Army on April 13, 1942 (ASN 32291109). He went on to serve with the Air Forces and deployed to Europe with 84th Service Squadron, 79th Service Group, 8th Air Force. He was discharged as a Corporal, and passed away on June 17, 1987.
