Rare genuine WWII US Army Field Ration K, Breakfast Unit, of the early type.
Packaged by The Hills Brothers Co. in New York.
Initially intended for airborne units, this type of combat ration pack was standardized for all branches of service in November 1942. A daily ration for one man was made up of three separate cardboard boxes -- Breakfast, Dinner, and Supper.
The present ration is complete and comes in its original carton in sealed, untouched condition, which retains its oil paper.
Do not eat contents.
