Set, Radio, BC-1306 (SCR-694), with canvas bag, 1944

Genuine WWII US Army BC-1306 transceiver for SCR-694 radio set, intended for providing communication between vehicles, or for being used as a portable field radio set. Initially designed for mountain troops and airborne forces, this type actually superseded the SCR-284 radio set in most 'regular' infantry divisions for battalion and regimental communications.

Dated 1944, the present BC-1306 is in good overall condition.
