Extremely rare collectible action figure representing Lieutenant Colonel Benjamin Vandervoort, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division. Scale: 1:6.
This figure belongs to a limited edition produced by BBI and D-Day-Publishing on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of D-Day, which includes the four paratroopers to whom the famous Portraits book series was dedicated -- Forrest Guth, Bob Piper, Doc McIlvoy and Ben Vandervoort. Only 1,000 figures were produced for each of the above-mentioned characters, every one of them being numbered from 1 to 1,000.
The present set is complete and in untouched condition. The cardboard box shows minor signs of wear due to storage conditions but the figure was never taken out of it. Number 785.
