Genuine WWII US folding knife, included in the C-1 Emergency Sustenance Vest issued to Army Air Forces and Navy pilots.
Manufactured by United in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The original black bakelite grips have been replaced with an interesting handcrafted version made in plexiglas, through which appear two photographic portraits of a woman, and a piece of playing card (king of spades) on which mention JB USN '43 has been written.
Complete and in quite good, used condition.
