Extremely rare genuine WWII US Army emergency portable air cylinder, designed for Sherman Duplex Drive tank crews and intended for being used when evacuating the vehicle at sea.

Dated January 1944.

Good overall condition; retains its original creased hose and mouthpiece; comes in its canvas cover, complete with strap -- snap hook is in working order.
