Scarce genuine WWII US Army grouping, made up of a wool serge off-duty coat and a flannel shirt with gas flap (Special), which belonged to some Technician 3rd Grade who served with an Amphibious Engineers unit.

The jacket retains all its original buttons and insignias: Engineer Special Brigades shoulder sleeve insignia, Technician 3rd Grade rank stripes, US and Corps of Engineers collar discs, breast pocket insignia of the Amphibious Engineers, 'Ruptured Duck', Meritorious Service Unit Badge, Overseas Service Bars and Service Stripes. Label is dated July 10, 1942. Size 39R. Laundry number R9786 has been handwritten in the collar.

The shirt, which also retains its buttons, is adorned with the Engineer Special Brigades shoulder patch and Technician 3rd Grade rank stripes. Label is still present in the collar (size 14 1/2 x 33).

Nice homogeneous set, in good overall condition.
