Description
New tan cotton shirt with convertible collar adopted in November 1941. It replaced the 1938-pattern which was to be worn with a tie. The new convertible design enabled the collar to be worn in garrison with a tie, or opened in the field. Otherwise known as the "Chino" shirt, this cotton shirt was also worn in tropical regions.
