Rare genuine WWII US Army Herringbone Twill once-piece work suit of the early type, made according to December 1938 and April 1942 specifications, first intended for mechanics yet also worn by paratroops and other special units on training.
This type features two breast patch pockets (including one with a flap), two side slant pockets, a gusset pocket behind the right thigh and two large patch pockets at the rear, as well as a pair of buttoned ankle tabs.
Quite good overall condition.
Shoulder width: 17.1in. Sleeve length: 22.4in. Total length (from neck to ankles): 59in.
