Genuine WWII US Army OD wool serge trousers, of the standard issue type issued to all services.
Early version, lacking the anti-gas flap behind the fly.
Label is dated October 29, 1941.

Complete and in very good overall condition; once belonged to some Staff Sergeant L. Silverman, ASN 33268769.
Leonard Silverman was born on July 24, 1912 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Ashkenazi Jewish parents who had emigrated from Russia and joined the US Army on June 3, 1942. He deployed from September 29 to December 3, 1942. He was discharged for medical reasons on November 16, 1943 as a Staff Sergeant, and passed away on June 29, 1989.
