Nice genuine WWII US Army 'Special' Herringbone Twill overshirt, featuring the antigas inner flap behind the front buttons, and with matching trousers featuring side cargo pockets with buttoned flaps and specific antigas flap.

Issued to various units deployed in the ETO, particularly in Normandy. Jacket: size 38R and dated 1942. Trousers: size 38 x 33 and dated 1943.

Homogeneous set in good, worn condition; complete with all original buttons.
