Genuine WWII US Navy M1926 life preserver, featuring three snap fasteners.
Manufactured by Durkee-Atwood Co. and dated July 18, 1943.
Supplied by the Navy, this dual-tube belt was issued to troops participating in amphibious operations; the belt could be inflated using two CO² cartridges, or by mouth via two valves fitted with mouthpieces.
Complete and in rather good overall condition.
