Genuine WWII US Navy M1926 life preserver, featuring two snap fasteners.
Supplied by the Navy, this dual-tube belt was issued to troops participating in amphibious operations. The belt could be inflated using two CO² cartridges, or by mouth via two valves fitted with mouthpieces.
Production markings are hardly legible.
Quite good overall condition; the male part of one of the studs is missing.
