Stunning pair of genuine WWII US Navy N1 field shoes made in russet suede and known as 'Boondockers'.

Also issued to the Marine Corps, this type, which has no toe cap, features special soles molded from rubber intermixed with rope twine intended for improving grip on slippery decks.

Manufactured by Endicott Johnson Corp. Contract of June 15, 1945.

Homogeneous pair in good, worn condition.
