Nice genuine WWII US Navy M1926 life preserver, of the type featuring three snap fasteners.
Manufactured by Eagle Rubber Co., Inc. in Ashland, Ohio and dated April 26, 1944.
Contract No. W 33-092 to 895.
Supplied by the Navy, this dual-tube belt was issued to troops participating in amphibious operations; the belt could be inflated using two CO² cartridges, or by mouth via two valves fitted mouthpieces.
Complete and in very good overall condition.
