Nice genuine WWII British-made ditching whistle, chrome-plated brass, hallmarked The Thunderer. This type was, among others, issued to RAF and USAAF aircrews.
Very good overall condition; in working order. A small chain links the present whistle to a theater-made collar hook welded onto some US Army Air Forces officer's collar insignia.
