Great genuine WWII USAAF Type B-8 Polaroid flying goggles, intended for aircrews. Offering a wide field of vision, this black molded-rubber type soon became popular in other branches of service, such as armored crews.
In very good overall condition, the present goggles come with a cloth pouch containing various spare lenses -- white (standard vision), green (to be used in sunny weather), and amber (designed for hazy conditions).
Nice homogeneous set, coming along with instruction leaflet and original cardboard box. Contract is dated 1944.
