Nice genuine WWII USAAF Type A-4 Flying Suit, standardized on March 18, 1930.
Made in khaki gabardine wool -- a very strong and durable material --, this type features afront zipper, an attached belt, two patch pockets (on the right breast and below the right knee); cuffs and ankles close with a zipper and a snap fastener.
All Crown zippers are in working order.
Contract number is dated 1942; size 36.
Complete and in excellent overall condition.
The russet leather name tag sewn on the left breast indicates that the present suit once belonged to some J. Reifsnyder.
