

Rare genuine WWII US Army fighting knife, based on a bayonet intended for the M1 Garand rifle, manufactured by Utica Cutlery -- short version produced from 1943 onwards.
The grip has been covered with a double layer of leather, kept in place by a leather lace attached and stuck to the guard and to the locking mechanism -- the latter being thus made unusable.
Comes in its original handcrafted leather scabbard.
Nice homogeneous set in quite good, used condition.

The Code provides additional penalties, including the confiscation of the items used or intended for committing the offence.
