Adapter, Grenade Projection, M1, GML 43

Genuine WWII US M1 adapter, intended for firing Mk II grenades with the M1 Garand rifle.

This was done by inserting a grenade into the prongs while a holder on one of the prongs kept the arming lever from releasing.

Quite good overall condition. Shows markings GML 43; dated 1945.
