Genuine WWII US M15 rifle sight, intended for being used with the grenade launcher -- not provided here.
This item could be used with the main long weapons of the armed forces: M1 Garand and Springfield M1903 rifles, or M1 carbine.
The sight was to be attached to the left side of the stock and consists of a screwed-on mounting plate and movable sight.
Complete and in mint, unissued condition; comes in its original canvas case, along with instruction sheet.
