Genuine WWII US M1942 bayonet for the M1 Garand rifle, manufactured by Utica Cutlery in 1942 (see hallmark on the left side of the ricasso) and subsequently shortened by Oneida Limited (see hallmark on the right side).
This type was redesignated M1 in March 1943.
Very good overall condition; comes in its OD bakelite scabbard.
