Genuine WWII US M1942 bayonet for the M1 Garand rifle, manufactured by Utica Cutlery in 1942 (see hallmark on the left side of the ricasso) and subsequently shortened by PAL-MOD (see hallmark on the right side).
This type was redesignated M1 in March 1943.
Good overall condition; comes in its OD bakelite scabbard.
