Genuine WWI US Army Model of 1916 meat can tin, intended for carrying an individual emergency ration made up of 12 ounces of bacon or other uncooked meat. Markings are hardly legible.

Quite good, used condition; complete with original lid.

The present artifact comes from a significant collection built up by a Norman collector in the last thirty years.
