Dog Tag, French, 2e classe Louis Renvoise, 169e Régiment d'infanterie, KIA, Argonne, July 14, 1915
Interesting genuine WWI French identity disc, which belonged to Private Louis Renvoise, inducted in 1914, service number 1741, Blois military district, Loir-et-Cher.
Quite good overall condition.
Louis, René, Henri Renvoise was born on January 22, 1894 in Choue, Loir-et-Cher and was inducted on December 19, 1914. He went on to serve with the 131st Infantry Regiment prior to transferring to the 169th Infantry Regiment on May 21, 1915. He was killed in action in Argonne on July 14, of that year, north of La Harazée, Marne. He rests at the National Military Cemetery of La Harazée.
