Case, Luminous Markers, Type I
Rare genuine WWII US Army Corps of Engineers case intended for carrying luminous markers. Designed for night beaconing, these radium luminous disks were also issued to paratroopers on the occasion of night operations -- attached onto the helmet net or any other part of their gear, they allowed troops to recognize each other in the darkness. Markings on the lid: Corps of Engineers USA, Luminous Markers, Radioactive, Type I . Dimensions: 7.5in x 4.3in x 1.6in. Quite good, used condition. Empty.

Rare genuine WWII US Army half canvas chinstrap, intended for the M1C parachutist's helmet. This is the longest section, fitted with a brass buckle. Quite good, worn condition. This artifact is virtually unfindable on the market.

Coat, Parachute Jumper, M-1941, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment
Rare genuine WWII US Army M1941 parachute jumper jacket, made in wind- and water-resistant cotton cloth, introduced in early 1941 and superseded by the famous M1942 a few months later. This type features slanted breast pockets for easier access to contents. The present coat is in very good overall condition and retains its original waist belt, snap fasteners and Talon zippers. The left breast pocket has been removed and replaced with the 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment insignia. No label. Shoulder witdth: 18.9in.

Exceptional genuine WWII US Army M1942 parachute jumper jacket, made in windproof and water-resistant cotton cloth, introduced in December 1941 and intended for being worn with matching trousers. This type features slanted breast pockets for easier access to contents. Label is dated April 9, 1943. Size 36L. Complete and in perfect condition; all snap fasteners and Crown and Serval zippers are in working order.
