Corresponds to size 7.
The present cap is adorned with the generic insignia of airborne troops, which was introduced in March 1944 for both paratroopers and glidermen, and remained in service through the end of the war.
Excellent overall condition.

Magnifique calot en laine moutarde de l'US Army, d'origine Seconde Guerre mondiale, pour hommes du rang et sous-officiers, dépourvu de passepoil.
Correspond à une taille 7 (56).
Ce calot arbore l'insigne générique des troupes aéroportées, adopté en mars 1944 et porté sans distinction par les parachutistes et les hommes transportés par planeur jusqu'à la fin du conflit.
