Genuine WWII British Mk II helmet, retaining its original liner and chinstrap.
Shell was manufactured by BMB (Briggs Motor Bodies, Dagenham) in 1943; the white and blue rectangular flash painted on the left-hand side likely corresponds to the Royal Corps of Signals.
Liner is hallmarked CCL (Christy & Co. Ltd., London) and dated 1942.
Complete and in very good overall condition.
Some name, now hardly legible, has been written on the canvas chinstrap.
