Genuine WWII British electrical connection cable intended for the Type 3 Mk II transceiver, introduced in 1942 and generally known as 'B2'.
This type of clandestine transceiver, intended for Special Operations Executive agents and Resistance organizations, was made up of four separate elements (transmitter, receiver, power unit, and set of accessories) designed for being carried in a suitcase or stored in two waterproof metal containers; a third container, carrying a battery, could complete the whole assembly.
7,000 units were produced during the war.
