Pair of genuine WWII British web pouches, manufactured by M.E. Co. in 1943 and 1944.
One was to be carried on each side, equally accomodating bandoleers with five-round clips for the Lee-Enfield rifle, Sten gun and Bren gun magazines, or Mills grenades.
Homogeneous set, in good overall condition.
