Genuine WWII US Army half shelter tent, dated 1943 -- manufacturer's name is hardly legible. The present second-type tent comes with its three-part mast.
As part of his issue, every GI had a shelter-half, usually rolled into the havresack's pack carrier. A two-man tent could be pitched by buttoning together two shelter halves.
Good overall condition.
