Scarce genuine WWII Canadian shoulder title, The North Shore (New Brunswick) Regiment. To be worn on the sleeves of the battledress blouse, printed version. Very good condition.
Recruited in New Brunswick, this young regiment fought valiantly during the Great War.
On June 6, 1944, the 'North Shores' landed in the first wave on Juno Beach (Nan Red) as part of the 8th Canadian Infantry Brigade, 3rd Canadian Infantry Division and kept fighting throughout the whole Battle of Normandy.
