Interesting genuine WWII US Army Report of Delinquency, dated July 23, 1945, filed by the Military Police against Corporal Cleveland Right -- most likely 'Wright' --, ASN 36798445, 413th Port Company, who was apprehended in Carentan at 0120 hours while having a pass only to 2300 hours. Truly stunning lot of two authentic messages sent by Major General Matthew B. Ridgway , commanding officer of XVIII Airborne Corps, to the officers in charge of various units -- including the 307th Airborne Engineer Battalion, 82nd Airborne Division -- during the fighting in Holland in September 1944 (Operation Market Garden). These extremely rare documents, which have some great historical significance, are protected by a frame. Frame dimensions: 9.8in x 14.5in.

Nice genuine WWII US Army dog tag, issued to some Barbara F. Abbott , ASN A-309694, vaccinated against tetanus in 1943 and 1944, blood type A, Protestant. Barbara Frances Savage was born on August 4, 1921 in Danville, Virginia and married William Abbott on April 19, 1942. She joined the US Army on February 12, 1943 and deployed to Europe for six months during the year 1945, where she went on to serve as General Dwight D. Eisehower 's secretary. Printed in English, this propaganda document was intended for being dropped over enemy lines in order to demoralize American and British troops. The main text mentions the supposed frivolity of ther latter's wives and fiancés; the color illustration visible overleaf suggests that only death opens its arms to the soldier deployed far from home, while his spouse or girlfriend falls into infidelity. Printed in English, this propaganda document was intended for being dropped over enemy lines in order to demoralize American troops. The main text aims at persuading GIs to address a request to their chain of command in order to be relieved from active combat duty, so that they don't get captured, wounded or killed; the text visible overleaf is supposed to be the reproduction of some handwritten request, submitted by four servicemen of Company G, 60th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division. The text printed on the first side -- in English and German -- is a free-pass for 'Tommies' who wish to surrender to Axis forces; the form printed overleaf -- only in English -- is supposedly provided to these potential POWs so that their names, rank, service number and address can be broadcast in order to reassure their loved ones regarding their fate.
