Album, Scrapbook, Pfc. Ralph Grube, 351st Engineer General Service Regiment, ETO
Rare genuine WWII US Army personal album, comprising over 150 original photographs and postcards as well as other memorabilia (stamps, booklets and press clippings), which once belonged to some Private First Class Ralph D. Grube and is related to his service in the European Theater of Operations.
Nice homogeneous set, in good overall condition; album dimensions: 11in x 12.80in.
Ralph Donald Grube was born on November 25, 1910 in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania and joined the US Army on July 12, 1943 (ASN 33696298). He went on to serve in the Corps of Engineers, deploying to Europe from December 29, 1943 to November 26, 1945 with 351st Engineer General Service Regiment. He was discharged on December 1st, 1945 as a Private First Class, and passed away on November 13, 1980.
