Dog Tags, with Religious Pendants, Sgt. William Kiley, USMC, PTO
Genuine WWII US Marine Corps grouping, made up of two pairs of dog tags issued to some Kiley, William J., service number 863653, Catholic, vaccinated in August and September 1943, blood type O.
Each pair retains its own bead chains and a Catholic pendant; one of these religious medallions shows the following engraving: Wm. J. Kiley, Peekskill, N.Y.
Rare homogeneous set, in excellent overall condition.
William John Kiley was born on November 26, 1907 in Peeksill, New York and joined the USMC on June 24, 1943. He deployed to the Pacific with some artillery unit of the the Fleet Marine Force, was discharged on November 27, 1945 as a Sergeant, and passed away on August 17, 1958.
