€175.00 Tax included

Genuine WWII US Army Duffle Bag -- featuring a shoulder strap, this green canvas bag was larger and sturdier than the Barrack Bag and could be secured with a padlock.

Production markings are hardly legible; dated 1943.

Quite good, used condition; retains its shoulder strap (snap hook is in working order) and shows various inscriptions on the outer surface.

Name Raymond P. Fizer and ASN 3753436 are still visible.

Raymond Pershing Fizer was born on December 31, 1917 in Marshall, Missouri and joined the US Army on July 15, 1943. He went on to serve with the artillery of 90th Infantry Division and deployed to Europe, participating in the so-called 'battle of the hedgerows' in Normandy. He was discharged on December 30, 1945, and passed away on January 30, 1982.
