Nice genuine WWII US Army OD 7 canvas bag.
This musette bag, which has five inner compartments (two large and two small), features a flap closing with two Lift-the-Dot fasteners, and a carrying strap with a pair of snap hooks.
Excellent overall condition; name W.W. Williams and officer's ASN O-1036432 have been stenciled under the flap.
These details indicate that the present bag once belonged to some 1st Lieutenant Woodrow W. Williams, Chemical Warfare Service, who served at Vigo Plant, near Terre Haute, Indiana.
