Genuine WWII US Army M1936 web pistol belt, issued to all personnel armed with handguns, carbines and submachine guns. The top row of grommets is intended for the suspenders hooks, the bottom row for securing various items of equipment thanks to special bent wire hooks.
Dated 1943.
The outer surface has been covered with a layer of white paint, indicating that the present belt may have been worn in the Ardennes during the Battle of the Bulge.
