Rare genuine Free French Forces commemorative set, made up of a leaflet and a handkerchief, both featuring the text of the famed poster displayed in London, United Kingdom from July 1940 onwards.

Contrary to some popular belief, and despite the fact that the date of June 18, 1940 is clearly mentioned, this poster is not a transcription of the actual call made by Général Charles de Gaulle on the BBC on that particular day — instead, it rather stands as a summary of the main concepts stated in the speeches he made on June 18, 19 and 22 of that year; as a matter of fact, his very first call was not recorded.
