Genuine WWII US Army anti-vesicant cover made in clear and dark green plastic, of the early version introduced in 1942.

Once unfolded, this item protected the soldier along with his weapon and equipment. It was also convenient as an overhead cover in a foxhole or to line its bottom; such covers were also used as shrouds in temporary cemeteries. On D-Day, every GI carried two of these with his gas mask.

Prefix W-669 corresponds to the Philadelphia Quartermaster Depot, while number qm-25131 indicates that it was made in 1943.

Complete and in sealed, untouched condition.
