Genuine WWII German bayonet for Mauser 98k, manufactured by Mundlos in Magdeburg in 1939.

Serial number 5549 d is clearly visible on the ricasso; bakelite grips; locking system is in working order.

Comes in some original steel scabbard, made by P. Weyersberg in Solingen in 1940, along with a blackened leather bayonet frog.

Nice set, in rather good overall condition.
