Rare genuine WWII US Army M2 type switchblade knife, designed for paratroopers and intented for cutting the canopy risers when landing in a difficult spot.

Generally carried in the small vertical pocket located under the collar of the jump coat. 

Presto version manufactured by Geo. Schrade Knife Co., Inc. in Bridgeport, Connecticut, featuring black bakelite grips.

Blade length: 2.95in.

Quite good, used condition; locking system is in working order.
