Genuine WWII USM8 bakelite scabbard, manufactured by B.M. Co. and intended for the USM3 trench knife.
This is the early version, which was not fitted with any bent-wire hook.
Complete and in good overall condition; snap fastener of securing strap is in working order.
Some inscription (illegible) is visible on the reverse of the canvas belt loop.
