

Rare genuine Vietnam War period US Army APH-5 flight helmet, mostly issued to helicopter pilots, which belonged to a member of the 121st Assault Helicopter Company -- the fearsome 'Soc Trang Tigers'.
Deploying to Vietnam from December 1961 to December 1970 under various denominations, this elite unit won fame and experience and was awarded the Distinguished Unit Citation in 1966.

Complete and in very good overall condition; retains its original liner and chinstrap, as well as tinted visor, microphone, earphones and wire.
A tiger's head has been painted on the rear of the shell, under mention White Tiger, while name Davis is visible in the lower part of the shell.
